Investigation on Vertical and Horizontal Comparison and Realistic Problems of Higher Education Development in Henan Province and Its Countermeasures

Since 1999,higher education in Henan Province has increased greatly in school scale and school levels.But,compared with higher education in developed provinces,exist certain gap and shortage,mainly is:The school scale is relatively weak,investment is shortage,school level and quality is lower,Professional setting,talent specifications and socio-economic development of convergence is not tight.Face the challenge,We should grasp the good opportunity of science and technology promotes comfort strategy ,to improve the quality of higher education in Henan province,Efforts to achieve the harmonious development of higher education in Henan province.The main countermeasures are:scale expansion appropriately,focus on enhancing the quality;safeguard national financial input,multi-channel financing fund;implement major breakthroughs to improve the competitiveness and the influence of the colleges and universities;the universities reasonably positioned to serve local economic development.
