Abstract
Objective: To establish a method for determination of Gliclazide Modified Release tablets by RP-HPLC. Methods: The chromatographic column was Hypersil ODS C18 and the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (60:40). The detection wavelength was 228nm and the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min,using glipizide as internal standard. Results: There was a good linear relationship when the sample size was within the range of 4~64 μg/ml (r=0.999 8). The average recovery was 99.83%(RSD=1.04%). Conclusion: The method is convenient, fast, reproducible, which can be used for the content determination of gliclazide modified release tablets.
