Abstract

Objective To study of the peripheral serum IL-2,IL-10,TNF-αand CRP in patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP) in order to evaluate the role of inflammatory factors in the development of UAP.Methods Forty patients with UAP,38 patients with SAP and 24 healthy volunteers were enrolled in the study.Serum levels of IL-2,IL-10,TNF-αand CRP were detected. The incidents of major cardiac events in three months were observed. All patients were evaluated with coronary angiography. Results The levels of IL-2,TNF-αand CRP were elevated in patients with UAP compared with those in patients with SAP and control group(P 0.05).The levels of IL-10 was decreased in patients with UAP compared with that in patients with SAP and controls(P 0.05).After 3 months follow up,among patients with UAP,the levels of IL-2,TNF-αand CRP were significantly higher in cardiac event group than without cardiac events group(P 0.05).The levels of IL-10 was significantly lower in cardiac event group than without cardiac events group(P 0.05).Conclusion Serum levels of IL- 2,IL-10,TNF-αand CRP may have diagnostic value for forecasting the incidents of UAP,and could be a useful marker to evaluate the stabilization of the disease. They also could predict the prognosis of patients with unstable angina pectoris.
