Research on parameter changes of semen after varicocele operation

Objective To analyze the improvement of varicocele operation on patients' sperm quality. Methods In 48 patients with varicocele,the quality and sperm antibody index of patients' semen before and after operation were detected.Choose 10 healthy volunteers cases as the normal control group. Results Compared with the normal control group,the preoperative quality of sperm in varicocele patients was reduced obviously,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Compared to the preoperative varicocele,the semen and sperm antibody quality of varicocele after 3,6 and 12 months in patients was improved significantly,the difference has statistical significance(P0.05). Conclusion Varicocele operation can improve sperm quality of varicocele patients obviously.
