Abstract

Objective To investigate the immunopathogenic changes of IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α and their clinical significance in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP). Methods Sixty-eight patients with AP were evaluated the serum levels of these cytokins. Serum IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α were detected by ELISA in 68 patients with AP and 50 controls. Results IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α levels were increased in patients with AP. The data showed the levels of IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α levels were remarkable increased than those of the normal controls of AP (P0.01).But with the remission of the disease,IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α were decreased. Conclusion IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α might play a role in the development of AP. Decting serum IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α levels is of value to predicting the prognosis and determining the discontinuance of therapy in AP. The measurement of serum IL-2R,IL-6 and TNF-α levels is beneficial in the determing of higher value in the evaluation of treatment effect in AP.
