Simultaneous determination of loganin,paeoniflorin and paeonol in Maiwei Dihuang Capsules by HPLC

AIM To propose RP-HPLC method for simultaneously determining loganin,paeoniflorin and paeonol in Maiwei Dihuang Capsules(Corni Fructus,Moutan Cortex,etc.).MEIHODS RP-HPLC analyses were carried out by using a Diamonsil C18(250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphric acid solution with the gradient elution.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was set at 235 nm.The column temperature was 30 ℃.RESULTS The calibration curves of loganin,paeoniflorin and paeonol were in good linearity over the ranges of 0.209-1.253 μg(r=0.999 8),0.182-1.089 μg(r=0.999 7),0.412~2.470 μg(r=0.999 9),respectively and the average recoveries were 98.22%(RSD of 1.14%),97.88%(RSD of 0.90%) and 99.10%(RSD of 1.37%),respectively.CONCLUSION The method is simple,feasible and reproducible,and can be used for the quality control of Maiwei Dihuang Capsules.
