Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of CD4~+ and CD25~+ regulatory T cells in the pathogenesis of asthma for the purpose of giving new approach of treatment. Methods The monouclear cells(PBMC) were isolated from peripheral blood of asthmatic patients and control subjects, and the phenotype and percentage of CD4~+ and CD25~+ regulatory T cells was detemined by Flow cytometry. Results The percentage of CD4~+and CD25~+ regulatory T cells in total T cells has significantly difference between control group(8.5±2.6)% and asthmatic patients(4.2±1.5)%(P0.05).The CTLA-4 and CD69 molecules in CD4~+ and CD25~+ regulatory T cells were no significantly difference between control group and asthmatic patients(P0.05).Conclusion The CD4~+and CD25~+ regulatory T leets involved in the pathogenesis of asthma in human.
