Abstract
Ten flavonoid compounds were isolated from the root of Scutellaria viscidula Bunge. Two of the compounds were new flavonoids named viscidulin-Ⅰ (3,5,7,2',6'-pentahydroxy-flavone) and viscidulin-Ⅱ (5,2', 6',-trihydroxy 7,8-dimethoxyflavone). The remaining seven were identified to be baicalein, baicalin, wogonin, wogonoside, oroxylin-A, neobaicalein and panicolin by UV, IR, MS, NMR and by acid hydrolysis.
