Study on Strategy of Small Town Based on Different Functional Areas——A Case Study of Lulong County

The direction of development on the small towns in Jidong mountainous and hilly region was discussed and Lulong county,which is the transitional region between foothills and plain was analyzed in this paper.With the evaluation indicator based on the estimation of small town and the practical situation of Lulong county,applying Entropy method and euclidean distance,and integrating comprehensive conditions of various types of region into the research,we classified Lulong county into four zones,i.e.agricultural economic zone,comprehensive economic zone,green economic zone and industrial economic zone.Comprehensive comparison method was applied to designate Liutiangezhuang Town,LulongTown,Panzhuang Town and Shimen Town as prioritized towns.The selection of key small towns in the hilly and mountainous areas are of significance to make related policies and determine development direction of the mountainous and hilly areas.
