Demonstrative research on town system structure in mountainous county region

Constructing the town system in county region is an important component of accelerating China's urbanization course.Many restricted factors exist in the town constructing of mountainous county,so the research of its particular town system structure has important significance.This paper takes Songxi county for example in northern Fujian province.Based on analyzing the historic development characteristics of town system in Songxi county region,this paper analyses the current characteristics and its original cause of town system in county region from three respects:the hierarchical structure of scale,the structure of space arrangement and the structure of function of town system,then searches the problems exist in the town system in Songxi county region.Finally,this paper puts forward some ideas and measures on adjusting the town system structure.
