Abstract
Naturalism and anti-naturalism is the most salient controversy in the philosophy of social science.The naturalistic orientation in social science forced to take the inferior position as the consequence of the declination of Positivism since the 1960's.However,the emergence of critical realism offers the opportunity of surpassing the limits of the both,making the revival of naturalism in social science possible.
