Abstract
The errors of the modeling prototypes against its sample parts got in reverse engineering modeling have direct influences on the performance and quality of the reversed products. According to reverse engineering principles, the modeling process of blades using 3D laser scanning and Surface software is studied, and the factors which influence the modeling precision of reverse engineering are analyzed. A method to control the modeling precision by improving the quality of model data,using the original design purpose and model creation based on feature parameter in reverse engineering modeling is presented.
