Abstract
As an author,Lawrence is deeply influenced by The Bible,After analyzing the structure and image in his famous novel,The Rainbow,by adopting archetypal approach.The writer of this article holds that the archetypal structures of the novel is the circular structure,and the image is the biblical rainbow.Basing on the biblical rainbow,Lawrence constructed his own harmonious rainbow.
