Abstract
Objective To study the technics of the preparation of sustained-release tablet of ginkgo leaf using chitim, carbomer and citric acid as primary excipients. Methods Using single factor method to study the effect of the release in different conditions, using orthogonal design method to optimize the prescription. Results No effect was found on release rate by using the basket or blade-paddle methods, but the release in different rotation speed showed some effect.Using 25% chitim、2% carbomer and 6% citric acid together can get the best sustained-release effect.[WTHZ]Conclusion The prescription is reasonable, the sustained-release tablets have an expected sustained-release quality and the preparation is easy.
