Abstract

OBJECTIVE To explore the preparation of Ginkgo biloba extract sustained-release tablets and to evaluate the release rate in vitro.METHODS With in vitro-accumulated percent of drug-release as an index, using single factor method to find out the main impact factors on the release of the drugs, then using orthogonal design method to filter out the best prescription.RESULTS The optimal formulation of Ginkgo biloba extract sustained-release tablets was obtained by orthogonal design and the study of in vitro cumulative release: base medicine 55%,HPMC 30%,EC 10%,lactose 5%,0.5% magnesium stearate. The release of Ginkgo biloba extract sustained-release tablets in vitro fitted the Ritger-Peppas equation.CONCLUSION The method was simple and feasible, and the product had obvious sustained-release effects.
