Investigation on health of university teachers in Henan province

Objective To research the physical healthy situation of teachers in Henan,and to find out possible factors influencing the physical health of university teachers in Henan.Methods The physical health of 4310 teachers of 46 universities was studied in Henan by inspecting information,visiting,phoning and questionnaire.Results The physical situation of teachers in Henan was not very well;the incidence of a disease remained high;and the untimely death of youth teachers happened,which heavily influenced the stabilization and development of university teachers in Hanan,as well as the improvement of teaching quality and scientific research.Thereby,to improve the health level of university teachers was of great significance for the development of teaching and scientific research.Conclusion All kinds of measures should be taken in Henan institutions of higher learning to improve the health level of teachers.
