Abstract
In spite of the larger number of authors and works,the parallel prose gradually lost its dominant status in the Tang Dynasty.Furthermore,it began the transformation from the original dominant literal style to a special pragmatic style in late Tang.The renaissance of the production of the parallel prose caused little change on the all-time low trends of its social status.
