Abstract
Objective:To detect the anti-coronavirus antibodies and to observe the changes of the titer in the sera from atypical pneumonia patients by immunofluorescence assay to help clinical diagnosis.Method:The indirect immunofluorescence assay was used to detect the anti-coronavirus antibodies in sera of patients during both the acute phase and the convalescent phase. Results:There were anti-coronavirus antibodies in the patients' sera, and the titers showed more than four-fold increase when compared the convalescent phase sera with the acute phase sera. Conclusion:The high specificity immunofluorescence assay can be used to detect the anti-coronavirus antibody. This method can be helpful to make a diagnosis for atypical pneumonia.
