Abstract

The key of slope stability analysis of concrete face rockfill dam is how to reasonably choose the shear strength indicators of the rockfill materials, and how to choose the anti-slide stability analysis method reasonably reflected the failure mechanism of slope instability.Taking the face rockfill dam slope stability and safety factor as research subjects, through compared linear shear strength indicators, the paper demonstrated the reasonableness of non-linear shear strength index and explained the accuracy and reasonableness of the finite element method by comparing finite element method with the traditional rigid body limit equilibrium method. The results shown that by using the non-linear shear strength of the finite element method to resolve the problem of slope stability of the concrete face rockfill dam can obtain more reasonable results.
