Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore a teaching method which can optimize college students’ physical condition and to provide reference for physical education curriculum reform and scientific fitness in colleges. Through comparing the conventional physical education teaching with the physical exercise prescription teaching, this paper compares the conventional physical education teaching with the physical exercise prescription teaching during one year to testify the impact of physical exercise prescription on the students. The result shows that there has significant difference among the students in terms of physical fitness and physical function. It concludes that physical exercise prescription, which can improve college students’ physical health with higher scientific effectiveness, is worthy to be popularized to optimize students’ physique.
