Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of limbal stem cell transplantation for recurrent pterygium. Methods 26 cases (26 eyes)of recurrent pterygium were performed limbal stem cell transplantation and were followed up for 8 to 12 months. Resuts At the ends of follow up, all cases recovered well and no pterygium recurrence took place. Conclusion Limbal stem cell transplantation is an effective method for the treatment of recurrent pterygium.
