There is outstanding manifestation of ecological ethic thought in Jia Ping-wa's literary creation. In his essays before 1980's, his ecological ethic thought displays mainly the harmony between man and nature, with the characteristics spontaneity. In his novels at the turning point of the centuries, his ecological ethic thought displays mainly the research in the relationship between human beings and animals, with the characteristics of consciousness. The main factors which compose of Jia Ping-wa's ecological ethic thought are his endowment and the culture.
