Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To observe clinical efficacy of nifedipine combined with captopril in the treatment of primary hypertension.METHODS: 116 cases of primary hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 58 patients in each group.2 groups had been discontinued antihypertensive agents above 2 weeks, adjusted depressurization diets and conducted reasonable exercises.Control group were treated with captopril, and treatment group was given nifedipine sustained-release tablets on the basis of the treatment of control group. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 8 weeks.RESULTS: The total effective rate was 89.7% for treatment group and 70.7% for control group. The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group, there was statistical significance(P0.05).Compared with control group, the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of treatment group were decreased after treatment, there was statistical significance(P0.05).CONCLUSION: Nifedipine combined with captopril is prior to captopril alone in the treatment of primary hypertension.
