Abstract
Objective:To reseach the influence of the serum sex hormones on essential hypertemsion in men. Methods: The levels of serum testosterone(T),estradiol(E_2) and progesterone were measured in 60 men with essential hypertemsion and 50 healthy men. Results:The Capacity of the serum T,E_2 and P of the men with essential hypertension was obviously lower than that of the health men (P0.001).Conclusions:Abnormality of sex hormones may be related to essemtial hypertemsion.
