Abstract
Objective: To study the Chemical Constituents of the Flowers of Salvia Deserta Schang. Methods: Using chromatographic methods lo isolate compounds and using chemical and spectral meth-ods to elucidate the structures of the isolated compounds. Results: Six compounds were elucidated as β-Sitosterol, Oleanolic acid, 5-hydro-xy-4' , 6, 7-Trimcthoxy Flavone, Dibutylphthalate, Rosmnrinic acid, Salvianolic acid K. Conclusion: Except the β-Sitostcrol and Oleanolic acid, the other compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of Salvia deserta Schang for the first time. The Dibutylphthalate and 5-hydroxy -4' , 6,7-Trimcthoxy Flavone were isolated from Salvia deserta Schang for the first time.
