Abstract

Objective: To study the chemical constituents of the leaf of Salvia Deserta Schang. Methods: Using chromatographic methods to isolate compounds and using chemical and spectral methods to elucidate the structures of the isolated compounds. Results: Four compounds were elucidated as β-Sitosterol(Ⅰ), Oleanolic acid(Ⅱ), Ursolic acid(Ⅲ), 5-hydroxy-4′, 6,7-Trimethoxy Flavone(Ⅳ). Conclusion: Except the β-sitosterol, oleanolic acid and 5-hydroxy-4′, 6,7-Trimethoxy Flavone, the other compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of Salvia deserta Schang for the first time.
