Abstract

Objective: To study the chemical constituents of the stem of Salvia deserta Schang. Methods: Using chromatographic methods to isolate compounds and using chemical and spectral methods to elucidate the structures of the isolated compounds. Results: Five compounds were elucidated as β-Sitosterol(Ⅰ), Oleanolic acid(Ⅱ), 7-O-acetyl-horminone(Ⅲ), Daucosterol(Ⅳ), Salvianolic acid K. Conclusions: Except the β-Sitosterol and Oleanolic acid, the other compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of Salvia deserta Schang for the first time.
