Clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine combined with message in treatment of children wits pneumonia

OBJECTIVE To observe clinical curative effect of massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of the children with pneumonia so as to provide basis for the treatment of pneumonia in the children.METHODS A total of 80cases of children with pneumonia were randomly divided into the treatment group with 40 cases and the control group with 40cases,both groups were given the anti-inflammatory,phlegm and other symptomatic and supportive treatment,while the treatment group was additionally given the massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation,with 7days for 1course,then the clinical efficacy was observed after the treatment for one course.RESULTS The cure rate of the treatment group was 80.00%,significantly higher than 55.00% of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);the disappearance time of the cough,rales,sputum,and asthma of the treatment group were respectively(4.32± 2.34),(6.34±1.36),(4.34±1.36),and(3.34±2.64),significantly shorter than(6.12±3.48),(7.03±1.43),(6.03±1.85),and(4.23±1.47)of the control group,the difference was statically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSIONThe massage combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of the children with pneumonia and can raise the cure rate.
