Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detecting serum hs-CRP,TNF-αand IL-8 levels in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods ction The levels of hs-CRP,TNF-αand IL-8 in 78 patients with coronary heart disease pre/post PCI procedure and three months after PCI were detected. These patients included 15 cases of acute myocardial infarction(AMI),36 cases of unstable angina pectoris(UAP),and 27 cases of stable angina pectoris(SAP).45 healthy volunteers enrolled as control group. Results The hs-CRP,TNF-αand IL-8 levels were significantly higher in AMI and UAP groups than in the control group(P 0.01),meanwhile TNF-αand IL-8 are positively related with hs-CRP(r =0.932,r = 0.956,r = 0.897,r = 0.873;all the P 0.01 ).The hs-CRP levels were significantly higher in SAP group than in the con- trol group(P 0.01).There were no significant differences of TNF-αand IL-8 levels between SAP groups and control group (P 0.05).After three months anti-inflammatory treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,TNF-αand IL-8 decerased significantly (P 0.01),there was no significance between patient with coronary heart disease and control group(P 0.05).Conclusion There were certain degree clinical significance in determining the serum levels of hs-CRP,TNF-αand IL-8 in patients with coronary heart disease pre/post treatment.
