Abstract
Philosophy of engineering is a new subject which is developing in the recent decade.It possesses important guiding significance for the engineering practice and the reform of engineer education.The paper analyses the faulty actuality of Chinese engineers and the necessity of comprehensive,innovational and harmonious future engineer cultivation.Then it analyses the basic quality of the qualified engineers in the future from some research paradigms of philosophy of engineering,such as: engineering knowledge,engineering innovation,engineering practice,engineering ethics and engineering internationalization,and discusses the countermeasures in large-scale engineering quality cultivation of engineering undergraduates from the view of philosophy of engineering.
