Abstract

This paper classifies the common vehicles on the road according to the number of axles and number of wheel groups,it determines the sample size of measured axle load according to the weight of traffic data, and adopts static weighing system to random sampling inspection, and plots the axle load spectrum of main vehicle type, finally calculates the conversion coefficient of axle load and equivalent axle load.According to a reconstructing project with bitumen pavement, the conversion results of accumulative equivalent axle load action time based on measured axle load data and theoretical axle load data are calculated. The result shows that the accumulative equivalent axle load action time based on the calculation of measured axle is bigger than the data based on theoretical axle load data.In order to meet the needs of checking computations on structure, the thickness of asphalt pavement should be increased.
