Abstract
Teaching staff is the fundamental problem restricting the development of rural education. Currently, there is a frequent loss of teachers in the rural schools overtly and covertly, which makes it hard to guarantee the teaching quality of rural education, exerting a strong impact on the healthy development of rural education. From the perspective of coordinating urban and rural development, the frequent loss of rural teachers mainly results from the striking differences between urban and rural teachers' salaries, development opportunities and working environments. By taking such measures as compensating differences, building platforms for teachers' professional development, promoting the humanistic management and improving teachers' living environment, we can hope to effectively solve the loss of rural teachers.
