Effective Feedback in Process-oriented Writing Instruction

Abstract

Feedback is a central aspect in the field of second language writing over the past thirty years.Researchers have come to realize the changes in writing from product approach to process approach.This paper will review recent research related to feedback,focusing on the role of feedback in writing instruction and discussing teacher written feedback,collaborative peer feedback and computer-mediated feedback.Meanwhile,some practical suggestions are put forward to improve the current situation of feedback.
