【Objective】 To explore the expression of miR-145 in cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and study its association with clinicopathologic features of cervical cancer.【Methods】 The expression levels of miR-145 in 68 cervical cancer,43 CIN and 20 non-tumor tissue specimens were examined by tissue microarray in situ hybridization.The correlations between the expression levels of miR-145 and related clinicopathologic features of cervical cancer were further analyzed.【Results】 Expression of miR-145 in cervical cancer was obviously lower than that in the non-tumor tissue specimens(P 0.05).Expression of miR-145 was associated with lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer.No significant association was found between miR-145 level and other clinicopathologic features of cervical cancer,such as age,size of tumor,pathological type and FIGO stage(both P 0.05).【Conclusion】 Low-regulated expression of miR-145 in cervical cancer was associated with lymph node metastasis.These data indicated that miR-145 may play an important role in the therapy and judgment of prognosis for cervical cancer.
