Abstract
Objective: The athletes received whole bodily vibration stimulation on the home-made vibration platform in order to investigate the effect of changing strength in the training to muscle strength. Methods: Ten male students of Shanghai Institute of P.E.volunteered to participate in the strength training and were assigned randomly to the alternating load strength training and traditional strength training groups. They trained for 8 weeks. The vibration stimulation group received whole bodily vibration stimulation on the vibration platform when do above training. The range of the vibration frequency was 20~25 Hz and the acceleration was 15~20 m/s~2.The maximal isotonic strength of lower limb of knee's 120° were tested;the muscle strength of knee joints was measured on Biodex isokinetic system 60°/s and 300°/s;Results: The alternating load strength training could effected improved the ability of jump, the original and speed strength of flexor and extensor of the lower limbs and the shock attenuation ability. Conclusion: It was suggested that the alternating load strength training could obviously effectively improve the effects of the muscular strength.
