Abstract
With methyl methacrylate(MMA) as hard monomer,butyl acrylate(BA) as soft monomer,acrylic acid(AA) as functional monomer,and ammonium persulfate(APS) as initiator,so an emulsifier-free acrylate emulsion with 50%-60% solid content was synthesized by different reactive emulsifiers.The influences of types and contents of reactive emulsifiers on properties and particle diameter of emulsifier-free emulsion were discussed.The results showed that the solid content of emulsifier-free emulsion was 60% about,gelling rate was nearly zero and particle diameter was relatively smaller when reaction temperature was 80-85 ℃ and mass fraction of reactive emulsifier DNS-86 was 4%-5%.
