Building antomation system is an important part of modern architecture.It played an improtant role in intelligent building,green building,and low-carbon build ing,and it will be the basis of one system of smart city.Starting from the intelligent and information needs of green building,and the development space of intelligent technology,the generalized and narrow sense of building automation system were introduced in detail,and the running management of building was analyzed and researched.It was pointed out that the building automation system must be planning and designing from angle of the life cycle cost of building when managing the intelligent building according to modern facilities management ways.
