Relationships between IL-6 and hsCRP and Essential Hypertension in Kazakh in Xinjiang

To investigate the relationships between the level of interlukin-6(IL-6),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP) and essential hypertension(EH) in the Kazakh.Sampling 135 EH patients as the case and 130 subjects for matched control from the date we collect before,IL-6 was measured by ELISA and hsCRP was measured by immunoturbidimetry(ITM).The results showed that serum levels of IL-6 and hsCRP were significantly higher in patients with hypertension than in normal controls,IL-6:(2.05±0.46)pg/mL vs.(1.77±0.58)pg/mL,P0.01;hsCRP:(0.49±0.31)mg/L vs.(0.23±0.16)mg/L,P0.01;no obuvios change with the lever of blood pressure.After adjusting the risk of hypertension,there was a significant association between serum IL-6 and hsCRP and essential hypertension occurrence.Inflammation reaction exists in hypertensive patients in Kazakh;hyperglycosemia and hyperlipemia may participate in inflammation reaction,so controlling serum glucose and blood-fat may relieve inflammation in hypertensive patients.
