Effects of Xuezhiqing Capsule on Blood Lipid of Rats with Experimental Disorder of Lipid Metabolism

Abstract

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Xuezhiqing Capsule on the lipid metabolism in the hyperlipidemia rats.MethodsFeeding with high fat feedstuff to establish the hyperlipidmia model in rats and detecting the various indexes of lipid including the total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialenhyde(MDA) and so on.ResultsXuezhiqing Capsule could obviously decrease the levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,MDA,ηb in rat serum,TC and TG in liver,increase the level of SOD and alleviate the lipid change of livercell,showing obvious difference from the model group(P0.05 or P0.01).ConclusionXuezhiqing Capsule not only prossesses obvious effect of regulating the disorder of lipid circulation in hyperlipidemia rats,but also can increase the antioxidation against lipid peroxidation.
