Regulating effect of Tianshuidan capsule on the blood lipid of hyperlipemia rats

Abstract

Objective To observe the regulating effect of Tianshuidan capsule on blood lipid of hyperlipemia rats. Methods To duplicate the hyperlipmia model of rats by feeding high fat forage, as compred with Zhibituo,blood lipid in serum were tested. Results Tianshidan capsule could markedly reduce total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL C),triglyceride(TG)and atherosclerosis index(AI), and could increase high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL C). Conclusion Tianshuidan capsule has effect in regulating blood lipid and preventing the formation of atherosclerosis.
