The value of multislice spiral CT in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis and progress

Objective:The multi-slice CT(MSCT)and image post-processing technique in diagnosis of acute appendicitis and progress.Methods:On 25 cases of suspected acute appendicitis MSCT preoperative diagnosis of patients with postoperative pathology of retrospective analysis of results.Results:MSCT and pathological contrast,proper 19 cases of MSCT in diagnosis of acute appendicitis,surgically for pathological diagnosis of 20 cases of acute appendicitis,MSCT in diagnosis of acute appendicitis the accuracy of 95%.Conclusion:MSCT can show the Appendix itself,surrounding tissue changes can significantly improve the pre-operative diagnosis of acute appendicitis the accuracy with high diagnostic value.
