Abstract
Jiang Ze-min lays much stress on the basic strategic position of agricultural production and rural work in our national economy.He advances a theory of Chinese socialist agriculture,emphasizes the importance to increase the income of farmers,and calls on us to build up a new socialist countryside with Chinese characteristics.His thoughts of agriculture,countryside and farmers pushes forward the corresponding theoretical research and practice to a new historical stage and furnished a theoretical guide to the construction of a new socialist countryside.
