Effect of Losartan on echocardiographic Left heart morphology,function in patients with congestive heart failure

Abstract

Objectives To assess effects of Losartan on echocatrdiographic left heart morphology,function in patientswith congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods 36 patients with CHF treated with oral Losartan(50mg daily)for 2～4 weeks on base of usually treated,examined by eohocaridiography.Results The results showed that Left ventricular diameter(LVD) were significantly changed(P0.01),Letf heart function parameters were also increased significantly(P0.01).Conclusions These results showed that Losartan in the treatment of patient with CHF is benefical on acute hamemodynamic and decreased Left ventricult diameter.
