Proper Criminal Procedure and Human Rights Protection

Abstract

The issue of human rights protection in criminal suit is enjoying a growing significance in China. Though great reform was made in the 1999 revised Code of Criminal Procedure to protect human rights and stipulations regarding proper criminal procedure were introduced, there still exist many problems with proper criminal procedure and human rights protection in criminal suit.
