Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical value of detecting the serum levels of glycosylated hemoglobin and uricacid in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 33 patients with diabetes mellitu and urinary albumin excretion ≥300mg in 24 h were served as observation group I,33 patients with diabetes mellitus and urinary albumin excretion between 30mg and 299mg served as observation group II,and 33 healthy individuals were selected as control group.Fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,UA,and Cr of the three groups were determined, and the results were compared among them. Results The levels of HbA1c and UA in observation groups I and II were higher than those of the control group. The levels of HbA1c and UA in the observation group I were higher than those in the observation group II,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Detection of HbA1c and UA has an important significance for prediction of renal impairment and its diagnosis and treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
