Abstract

Citizens refers to the individual members of the community organizing societies and create countries. Citizen morals indicates the citizen political morals with rights as its basic content, universal interest as its essential stipulation, and all men’s equality as the value principles. The contemporary moral construction needs all kinds of thought resources. Now that the important thought resource of Confucianism ethics should function as the content of the contemporary ethics, it must be filtrated, chosen, and transformed according to the ethical ideals, value principles, and existential principle of the contemporary citizen ethics.
