Abstract
The practice of Southwest Jiaotong University in constructing innovative talents cultivating system,based on the talents cultivating plan,takes both theoretical and practical teaching as the main channels,and adopts laboratories and teaching base as its platform.The system consists of 4 parts,e.g.theoretical teaching innovative module,students' innovative practice activities module,innovative cultivating base module and policy guarantee module.In the background of popular education,the practice provides valuable experience and mirror for how to establish operable innovative talents cultivating mechanism and constantly improve higher education quality.
