Abstract

The research on effect of different combined formulas of fresh keeping liquid on cut rose in vase was done.With Cardinal cut rose as tested material,sucrose,8-HQ,citric acid,Vc,Al2(SO4)3 or K2SO4 as basic components,the orthogonal design was used to conduct the combined formula experiment in fresh keeping liquid for cut rose.It was feasible to take 5 chemical agents including sucrose,8-HQ,citric acid,Vc,Al2(SO4)3 and K2SO4 as fresh keeping liquid for cut rose in vase,which had extremely significant influence on fresh keeping of cut rose.Considering synthetically,the two formula combinations such as 1.8% sucrose+ 60 mg/L 8-HQ+440 mg/L citric acid + 100 mg/L Al2(SO4)3+80 mg/L Vc and 1.8% sucrose+100 mg/L 8-HQ+280 mg/L citric acid +0.12% K2SO4+80 mg/L Vc were the optimum formula combinations.The research laid the foundation for screening combined formula of fresh keeping liquid for cut rose in vase that was economical,practical,harmless and easy to operate.
