Abstract
[Objective] To optimize the extraction technology of magnolol and honokiol from the leaf of Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.[Method] Taking the extraction rate of magnolol and honokiol as evaluation index, the extraction technology of magnolol and honokiol from M.officinalis leaves was optimized by means of orthogonal test.[Result] The optimal extraction technology was as follows: M.officinalis leaves were extracted once with 80% ethanol at the solid-liquid ratio of 1∶10 g/ml for 1.5 h.[Conclusion] The extraction technology was reasonable and effective to extract effective components including magnolol and honokiol from M.officinalis leaves.
