Abstract
Objective To develop an ultrasonic extracting method for Magnolol and Honokiol in leaves of Magnolia offcinalis Rend et Wils. Methods The extraction method was optimized by orthogonal experiment and the contents were determined by HPLC.Results 100% ethanol, extracting 24 hours, ration of materials to liquid 1∶40 and middle intensity of ultrasonic was the optimal extracting method. The extracting rate of Magnolol was 92.15%.The extracting rate of Honokiol was 70.83%.The RP-HPLC for determining method was simple, rapid and accurate. Conclusion The ultrasonic extracting method is practicable for Magnolol and Honokiol in leaves of Magnolia offcinalis Rend et Wils.
